Traveling to China this summer - will I be allowed to bring prescription medicine?
June 25th, 2008 | by admin |travelingal2004 asked:
I take migraine prevention medicine on a daily basis is why I ask. Has anyone had trouble with this issue? I’d appreciate any feedback. On a related issue, I am still acquiring a taste for Chinese food, though I love rice (preferably not fried), pork and beef. Not a big fan of steamed veggies. I’ll only be in China for two weeks and in a large city, but it’s important for me to eat enough food every day to keep migraines at bay. (Traveling with a group so most meals will be planned; hoping to have access to a nearby supermarket to stock up on fruit, etc. (What kind of fruit do Chinese eat, anyway?)) BTW - What do Chinese McDonalds serve? I realize they don’t necessarily serve what American McDonalds serve. What about other fast food places? Appreciate any help! Thank you!!

1.prescription medicine no prob at all
2.chinese food fabulous (dine in better-decored chinese restaurants to appreciate)
3.chinese eat all kinds of everything - no worries bout fruits (plenty of carrefour, walmarts, fresh markets etc)
4.mcdonald’s china basically serve what you will find anywhere else in addition to their local offering (nothing odd-looking); Kentucky Fried Chicken outlets are very popular
5.enjoy your china holidays!!!
