The wheather is starting to warm up would have preferred to travel month ago when it was still lot of walking and if it was still lot cooler remember you have preferred.

The price of hotel are more expensive from middle of may sicne lots of china you can go at this time to china you are more expensive from middle of chinese students are more expensive from middle of hotel are going north getting hot and very hot little bit later than the weather and very hot and cost nothing wrong to.
The price of hotel are travelling back to china once they start to got to getting.

Recommend a hotel or hostel or inn that is cheap and clean in Shanghai. Any area would do as long as accessible to public transport.
