Tom asked:

I won’t be traveling off the beaten path too much so I’m confused about the vaccs. I do need. The list on the CDC site http://wwwn.cdc.gov/travel/destinationChina.aspx seems to list for every possible travel options. What about just going to cities? Also is it vital or only a precaution that can be done without? Thanks

I’ve been to all of these places except Cambodia, and I didn’t need any vaccinations for any of them. I was just fine (except for the time I got bronchitis, and there is no vaccination for that).
