Habibti asked:

I’m actually going to have a couple of connecting flights
Omaha-Denver-Vancouver-Beijing.
What I’m worried about is crossing the US border for the flight to Vancouver ( Canada). I’m only going to stay in the airport to connect to another flight. Am I allow to do that with my permanent residence paper works from the US?
Also, it is my first time flying internationally by myself. I’ve flown with my family before, but the only airport we stopped at were within the US. It would be nice if you also can drop some advice for flying long trips alone.

Carry your resident card as well as your passport. Also, because of your status you may need a visa to enter another country. I’m not sure but you should cover all your bases. You can call the airline that you are flying with and see what documents you need to travel out of the country based on your status.

    Have fun on your trip!
